Document Classification: Public
Jurisdiction: New South Wales, Australia
1. Introduction and Scope
Delta Tango Advisory Pty Ltd (ABN 31 649 924 514) ("the Firm", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information in strict compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) where applicable to our operations within New South Wales.
This Policy applies to all external interactions across our public-facing digital assets, including the primary website (deltatangoadvisory.com) and our dedicated external application tracking portal, the Targeted Acquisition & Landing Operations Network (careers.deltatangoadvisory.com or "TALON").
This Policy does not govern internal employee records or operational environments contained within our sovereign operating system perimeter ("ECHO", "HUB", or "CITADEL"), which are subject to separate internal security classifications and strict Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) handling controls.
2. Personal Information We Collect
In the course of conducting our advisory services, commercial operations, and recruitment activities, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identity and Contact Data: Full name, professional title, corporate affiliation, email address, telephone number, and physical business address.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Data (via TALON): Employment history, academic qualifications, curriculum vitae (CV), professional memberships, referee details, and declarations regarding Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance levels (e.g., Baseline, NV1, NV2, PV).
- Technical and Usage Data: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, operating system, access timestamps, and telemetry detailing interaction with our public interfaces.
- Commercial Relationship Data: Communications, meeting metadata, expressions of interest, and engagement details submitted via web forms.
We do not collect sensitive information (such as criminal records, political opinions, health status, or religious beliefs) through our public website. Any collection of sensitive vetting data for clearance validation occurs strictly post-offer within our isolated, encrypted internal security perimeter ("ACE").
3. Methods of Collection
We collect personal information through lawful and fair means, and directly from the individual wherever practicable:
- Direct Interaction: When you fill out forms on our website, submit inquiries, subscribe to professional publications, or log an application through the TALON portal.
- Automated Telemetry: As you navigate our public web infrastructure, edge-hosted monitoring tools automatically record technical logs to ensure network stability and protect against digital threats.
- Third Parties: We may receive recruitment data from professional networks (such as LinkedIn) when you explicitly authorise the linkage of your profile to our talent pipelines.
4. Purposes of Collection, Holding, Use, and Disclosure
Delta Tango Advisory collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information strictly to execute core business functions, including:
- Service Delivery: Responding to commercial inquiries, scheduling operational briefings, and managing client management cycles.
- Talent Acquisition: Assessing candidate suitability for professional advisory positions, tracking recruitment status transparently, and managing applicant pipelines.
- System Integrity and Security: Auditing infrastructure metrics, defending against malicious cyber activity, and satisfying automated compliance monitoring.
- Statutory Compliance: Fulfilling obligations mandated under Commonwealth and State legislation, including national security, export controls, and regulatory audit directives.
We operate under a data minimisation framework. Personal information is only processed if there is a legitimate commercial or legal necessity.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to external commercial entities. Disclosures are restricted to the following contexts:
- Internal Personnel: Authorised advisory, operations, and human resource staff who require access to execute their designated duties.
- Subcontractors and Partners: Cleared partners working under strict non-disclosure agreements and bound by security baselines mapped to the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Essential Eight.
- Legal and Regulatory Authorisation: Law enforcement bodies, government departments, or regulatory authorities where mandated by Australian law or an order of a court of competent jurisdiction within New South Wales.
Overseas Data Flows and Data Sovereignty
Delta Tango Advisory enforces a strict Data Sovereignty mandate. All personal information collected via our public web infrastructure and the TALON platform is hosted domestically within Australian edge infrastructure nodes. We do not disclose personal information to overseas recipients.
6. Data Security, Retention, and Storage
We adopt a "Secure by Design" posture to safeguard personal information against loss, misuse, interference, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure:
- Perimeter Controls: Public web traffic passes through a Cloudflare-protected Zero Trust perimeter, enforcing encrypted Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2+) in transit.
- Encryption and Storage: Data is stored in structurally isolated databases and object repositories utilizing Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) encryption at rest.
- Anonymisation: Technical metrics are stored asynchronously and decoupled from personal identifiers wherever practicable to enforce data minimisation.
- Retention Boundaries: Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the operational purpose for which it was collected or to satisfy statutory record-keeping obligations. Where data is no longer required, it is irretrievably purged or securely de-identified in accordance with our internal Records Management Framework.
7. Access to and Correction of Personal Information
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to seek its correction if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading.
